Joy is an Amazing Thing.
It’s been amazing how happy Krissy has been lately. Just very much alive and well….almost unphased by the fact that she has an open heart surgery scheduled in less than a week. Most of us would probably be falling apart at the seams, but not her. She would quickly point out that, it’s not her, it’s HIM. Jesus said, “My peace I leave with you.” Krissy has embraced that fully. A lot of people might say, “Well, that’s living in denial.” In the words of Andrew Wommack, “Then don’t wake us up.” Denial is ignoring the peace Christ has given us. Denial is not accepting that we are alive with Christ, a new creation, the righteousness of God. No, this is joy, peace, and love - that’s what we’re experiencing and it really is AMAZING. God is so good and He is faithful till the end.
