Well, we head down to Indy on Wednesday of this coming week. We’ll probably leave in the morning sometime so we can make it to the hospital in time for to have some blood work done and a chance to talk to the surgeon once more before Friday. Thursday is a free day and some of our family will be joining us down there then. Friday morning we have to be at the hospital at 6am and the surgery is scheduled for around 7:30/8am. It could last any where between 1.5 to like 6 hours. I’ll probably have someone send some sort of mass email out to our address list to update everyone on when it’s done. (If you don’t think we have your email, please let me know soon.) Then I’ll probably give some more details that evening once she gets to her room, etc. I’ll be staying at the hospital from Friday until we leave, but I should have cell and wireless access in the lobby and cafe. I’ll plan on posting a blog and myspace update as well. We’ll probably be in Indy for 4-7 days. A friend will be staying at our place while we’re gone.
I imagine I’ll post a few more thoughts prior to Friday, so keep checking back. Also, my subscription feature is up and running, so click on the link to the left to subscribe to my blog for regular updates when I post new material, etc.
We love you all…thanks for your support and prayers. We are trusting HIM and we know HE is faithful.

UNTAMED HEART –
Lucas and Krissy, I have been thinking of you both a lot lately, though haven’t seemed to find the words to write until now. I was really shocked by the original email you guys sent, because I knew nothing about it. I am glad that you are both doing so great, and I know surgery will go great – if you end up needing it, that is. I will be praying for full recovery prior to surgery, as requested! My only concern is that once Krissy is better, you might have kids, and seeing a little Lucas running around will really freak me out, as well as the world at large. JK! I hope you guys can get started on that next step really soon. I will call when things have settled down a little, maybe around Christmas. My prayers are with you for a full recovery (and lots of little Lucases and Krissys). With love, Maria
