Being homebound with my wife after her open heart surgery has turned me into quite the tv couch potato. We’ve been sharing our evenings with Seinfeld, Friends, FX movies, and whatever I brought home from Blockbuster (which I might point out that someone accidentally drove their car through the blockbuster store front in Granger! Wow! I was told they took out the whole “Drama” section of movies with their front bumper.) Back to my story…I’ve also been catching quite a bit of the travel channel lately (big mistake), because I’m really getting the “bug” to go somewhere and I mean soon. Typically this time of year, I’m gearing up for a Mexico trip to visit our churches there, but I canceled it due to her surgery. (We’ll probably be returning to Tampico, Mexico in June/July) Plus, I’ve met some new friends lately through my blog in both Canada and Uganda. All of this has equated to me REALLY having a desire to take a mission trip of some sorts real soon. We need some churches out there people!!!! Good news to share! So attention all you church planters, pastors, missionaries, and travel guides, etc,….please give me a reason to catch a jet plane. I’m ready to roll. Russia, Uganda, Canada,…heck, I’d settle for Elkhart right now…okay, maybe not Elkhart.
